Thank you to all, who came to our Midsummer BBQ and bonfire event last Saturday. It was a lovely warm evening in the church garden and it was great to see so many people there. It was a great day celebrating 70 years for Preston Community Hall on the 20th June and so wonderful that this place, which used to be our temporary church building, is stil in use as a community building.

We have recently discovered that the interim church building used between 1948 and 1954 was sold to be used as the Preston church hall and is still in use as their community hall. They are celebrating their 70 anniversary on Saturday the 20th June. You can read more about it in the June edition of … We’re in the news!

A lovely afternoon was had on Thursday the 2nd April to celebrate Easter with a service followed by coffee, tea and delicious cakes. Thank you to Karsen Møller Hansen from the Danish Church in London for giving a great and thoughtprovoking sermon about peace.

The New Year service and lunch was a great way to start the new year, with lovely food and in great company. Thank you to Arne Kristophersen for making the trip to Hull and to the Social Fund ladies for the fantastic meal.  

Nearly 700 visitors braved the rain to come to our Christmas Market on Saturday and it was a fantastic day. Thank you to all who came and supported our event, shopped and enjoyed the food in the cafe. A huge thank you to all of the fantastic volunteers who make this day possible.
