Folk event and organ recital in May
On Saturday the 3rd of May we are excited to host a maritime Folk music event, featuring local musicians and the London Sea Shanty Collective, to raise funds for Sailor's Children's Society and for the church. It's going to be a great evening so please save the date, more info and how to purchase tickets coming soon.

It was a joy welcoming Philip Paul, organist at The Central Methodist Church in York, who asked if he was able to come and practice on our Frobenious organ built in 1963.
These organs built in Denmark are renowned for their beautiful tone and we are lucky to have had ours donated from Rind church in Herning, Jutland in 1994. The organ was restored, installed and tuned by Frobenius in 1995, when the church in Hull went through a big restoration.
Paul has agreed to do an organ recital for us together with our organist Michael Baron. The Royal College of Organists has declared 2025 'Play the Organ Year', a project to increase the number of people learning to play the organ, as well as enjoying live and recorded organ music.
We are very excited to invite you to join us for our first organ recital of the year on the 31st May 2025. More details to follow. |
